Instead, the Canadians are wearing black jerseys with some cool detail.

Why is Canada wearing black jerseys?

Canada has worn the black jerseys already at this tournament and will do so again.

It’s one of two looks Canada brought to the tournament. Their other uniform is all-white.

They have worn red jerseys in their past, but each team only brings two looks to the World Cup, and an all-red outfit wasn’t one of Canada’s.

They wore the white jerseys in their last match, a 2-1 loss to Switzerland.

When they blew out Qatar, they were wearing the black jerseys.

They’ll be hoping the goals flow fast and furious on Sunday in those uniforms as they take on South Africa.
