AFL players linked with Tasmania
Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
With the superstar yet to rule out a move south, it’s being talked about as a possibility.
Daicos’ father Peter recently made it clear that Nick plans to see out his contract with Collingwood — which doesn’t expire until 2029.
Could we then see an Ablett-style move to a fledgling franchise?
Logan Morris (Brisbane)
Already a two-time premiership winner at 21 years old.
Could he take the big money on offer for a fresh challenge south?
Morris would be a great get for the Devils with his blend of ability and youth.
Beau McCreery (Collingwood)
The utility is a premiership player at the Magpies and could become a centerpiece of the Devils.
McCreery has started to play more midfield in recent years at Collingwood, which could appeal to Tasmania.
He is rumoured to have been offered a deal close to $1 million-a-season over seven years.

Sam Lalor (Richmond)
The Devils are understood to be keen on the number one draft pick.
It could be possible to pry him out of Richmond if the Tigers rebuild continues to stagnate.
Finn O’Sullivan (North Melbourne)
Taken pick two behind Lalor in the 2024 draft, Tasmania might dangle a carrot in front of the future midfield star.
It will be easier for North to keep him if the team is making progress — which looks like the case this season.
Rhyan Mansell (Richmond)
Developed into a decent small forward at the Tigers, Mansell could be a nice, cheap get for Tasmania.
It’s understood the Devils are keen to lure him and partner Monique Conti — who is an AFLW star.
