Green is currently on a promotional tour through China during the Warriors’ offseason. During the trip, he linked up with the Hall of Fame center for a photo that the Warriors’ official account posted and ESPN’s NBA account later reshared.
They posed side by side in matching dark outfits, Yao with his arm draped over Green’s shoulder, both smiling for the camera in front of a Golden State backdrop.
ESPN posted their photo with the caption, «Yao Ming making Draymond Green look small 😳 (via @warriors).»

Yao Ming was drafted No. 1 overall by the Houston Rockets in 2002. He played eight active NBA seasons, making eight All-Star teams, two All-NBA Second Team selections, and three All-NBA Third Team nods.
His best year came in the 2006-07 season, when he averaged 25 points, 9.4 rebounds, and two blocks per game. Foot and ankle injuries cut his career short, and he finished with career averages of 19 points and 9.2 rebounds.
The Rockets retired his No. 11 jersey. Yao was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016 and later served as president of the Chinese Basketball Association from 2017 to 2024.
