Billy Slater has stuck with Kalyn Ponga despite his costly second-half send off in Game I. However with another fortnight under his belt after his facial fracture Reece Walsh also comes into the reserves this time to provide X-factor off the bench if required.
Winger Jojo Fifita is named to start with Murray Tualagi also named on the bench.
Debut halfback Sam Walker showed plenty of promise in Game I and with that experience under his belt is poised for a big night in Melbourne.
In the forwards Pat Carrigan (ankle) has been replaced by Kulikefu Finefeuiaki on the Maroons bench while Briton Nikora will start ahead of Max Plath, as Reuben Cotter shifts to lock.
