ETG Push Gains Attention
Kenan Bajram, who serves as the deputy director of global sales in Novomatic, revealed that his company believes there are better prospects of increased adoption of its ETGs in Asian gaming jurisdictions such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Macau. These comments were expressed during an interview conducted at the recently concluded Global Gaming Expo Asia event.
Bajram noted that Novomatic has substantial expertise in the field of ETG and that it has been established successfully in Asia. The company has a sizable presence in Malaysia and the Philippines. He added that Malaysia has historically been one of the company’s most important ETG markets, where it has maintained a leading position for decades in terms of both installed terminal base and overall product performance.
Product Mix On Display
At G2E Asia, Novomatic presented its Novo Unity Pro standalone ETG in the Diamond X 3.32 cabinet. This upright ETG is built in the style of slots, with 3 screen displays included. In addition, it includes roulette, baccarat, blackjack, and sic bo.
According to Bajram, the product drew considerable interest from operators and visitors during the event. He said the company’s award-winning Novo Unity Pro ETG solutions and Novo Line slot products are built on the same technology platform, giving Novomatic flexibility to adapt almost any of its gaming cabinets for ETG use.
Novomatic also showed Novo Unity Pro in a stadium configuration, which is designed to combine automated and live gaming options in one integrated ecosystem. The version on display featured improved graphics and a more refined user experience, and was shown with new baccarat side bets, including a Lucky 6 feature.
Live Tables And Hardware
Bajram said Novomatic is also offering live table integrations alongside its ETG hardware portfolio. That portfolio includes automated roulette wheels and terminals such as the Executive SL 1.27 and Lotus SL 1.27.

He said these live table options can be incorporated into modern stadium-style setups depending on operator requirements. The company appears to be using that flexibility as part of its wider push to meet different market demands across Asia.
Slot Growth In Asia
Alongside ETGs, Novomatic is also looking to build further on its linked progressive slot business in the region. At G2E Asia, the company presented its Vision Link and Xtension Link products, which it sees as opening growth opportunities in the Philippines and other developing Asian markets.
Vision Link offers multiple integrated bonus mechanics and linked jackpot levels. It was displayed on the Diamond X Quattro 1.55J cabinet, which has recently been upgraded with better speakers, improved lighting and a redesigned glass touch deck.
The company also showcased its slot titles Hot Pot and Ghost Party through Vision Link. Bajram said visitors responded particularly positively to Ghost Party because of its expressive graphics.
Momentum For Linked Progressives
Xtension Link, which Novomatic describes as one of its most successful linked progressive products internationally, was also shown at the event. The mechanic features a reel set that expands dynamically and randomly during gameplay, with the effect tied to either more ways to win or more paylines.
Bajram said the titles in the Xtension Link portfolio are among Novomatic’s strongest-performing linked progressive games in Europe and are also showing growing momentum in selected Asian markets. That gives the company another product line to support its expansion plans as it looks to strengthen both its ETG and slot presence across the region.
