Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards gets Dwyane Wade feat in Game 4 win vs. Spurs
All the Minnesota Timberwolves faithful had to do was believe that Anthony Edwards can pull it off. He delivered and it led to a huge 114-109 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4. Clearly, the star guard was the main man on the floor as he even notched a feat that Dwyane Wade achieved in the NBA Playoffs.

Edwards lead Timberwolves to Game 4 win, notch Wade NBA Playoffs record
There was minimal rest needed for Anthony Edwards in Game 4 against the Spurs. Coach Chris Finch played him for 40 minutes and this decision paid off. The Timberwolves star scored 36 points while going 59% from the field and 60% from three-point range. He also grabbed six points, dropper two assists, and notched a steal.
Clearly, Edwards was the best player on the floor even before Victor Wembanyama got ejected out of the game. A lot of people forget how great Edwards is for his age. In fact, he just passed Dwyane Wade for the most NBA Playoffs points by a player younger than 25 years old. This obviously means a lot to the Timberwolves star given how much he admires Wade.
«I just be watching Dwyane Wade clips. He was beating s*** at the rim. So I just be trying to beat s*** at the rim. That’s all. People come to the rim, and if Rudy ain’t down there, I’m trying to beat that s***. I don’t care who it is. So, if you come down there and you see No. 5 down there, I’m going up. I don’t give a damn,» he said back in April.

How great is Edwards when it comes to three-level scoring? To put it into perspective, only three players in NBA Playoffs history now have more 30-point games over him, per StatMuse.
These players are LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant. He still has all the ability to pass Durant if the Timberwolves prolong their postseason run. For now, his clear focus is going to be taking the commanding 3-2 lead over the Spurs in Game 5.
