Claudio Seguel Takes Office as President of Santa Cruz Lottery
For the Lottery for Social Action Works (LOAS), based in Santa Cruz, Claudio Seguel officially took office on August 1 with an introductory meeting in which he met with the organization’s staff. The event was a first in a new cycle of leadership that was focused on collaboration, institutional development and continuity.

Santa Cruz Minister of Social Development, Equality and Integration, Sebastián Georgion, welcomed Seguel to his new position and had hopes for the new administration, wishing him success as he takes on the mantle of the provincial lottery.
Transition Follows Completion of Previous Administration
Seguel replaces Claudia Pavez, who led the organization in the last administration and is now the president of the outgoing administration. Pavez thanked the provincial government for the trust entrusted in her while in office, and wished the new provincial government well.
She also mentioned that she will keep looking for new personal and professional opportunities, and said she was confident in the chances of the institution under the new management.
Focus on Teamwork and Institutional Growth
In his first speech to employees, Seguel expressed his gratitude to Governor Claudio Vidal for his trust in him as leader of the lottery and reiterated the need to stay together to keep the lottery growing.
“I would like to thank Governor Claudio Vidal for the trust he has placed in me to take on this new challenge. To the lottery team, I want to say that we will work together calmly, building on the knowledge and experience of every employee to continue strengthening this institution“, Seguel said.

He also said that teamwork, dialogue, and collaboration are the values and guiding principles of his administration and that every employee will have an important role in the organization’s future.
Commitment to Strengthening the Institution
Seguel reiterated his commitment to a working environment that would promote cooperative working where common goals and long-term institutional growth would be the focus.
“My wish is for us to work together, with commitment and a common purpose, to continue strengthening the Santa Cruz Lottery. I am convinced that each person’s contribution will be essential for us to continue growing as an institution“, he stated.
For its part, Minister Sebastián Georgion renewed his support for the new government and expressed faith in the direction of the organization. It was also a chance for the leadership to share their initial priorities and reaffirm their dedication to further advancing the work of the lottery by respecting the experience of our employees and staying true to our community of Santa Cruz.
