New Venue Set For Poker Series
According to a Monday press release from WPT, the festival will be staged inside a newly developed entertainment space at the foreigner-only casino complex. The location includes YY Poker Club, a new poker room, as well as Daia, described as an exclusive junket room, and Ultra Lounge, a nightlife venue.
The organiser said the setup was designed to support a wide range of poker activity under one roof. The new area is intended to become a central feature of Inspire’s expanded entertainment offering, with the poker room at the core of the launch.
YY Poker Club will host the series in a venue equipped with 70 poker tables and a dedicated livestream studio. Organisers said the facility was developed specifically for poker events.
Festival Schedule And Prize Details
The WPT Seoul festival will feature 46 events across 11 days. Buy-ins will range from KRW300,000, or US$202.8, to KRW8.0 million, giving players across different bankroll levels options throughout the series.
The headline event will be the WPT Seoul Championship Event, which is set to run from November 5 to November 9. That tournament will carry a buy-in of KRW1.75 million and a guaranteed prize pool of KRW1.0 billion.
The schedule appears to be structured to attract both regular tournament players and those entering at lower stakes. WPT said the range of events was designed to cater to players across a wide range of budgets.
Partnership With Inspire
The poker series is being organised by WPT through its official licensee Khartes, in partnership with Inspire. The festival marks the tour’s debut at the resort and adds another international poker stop to its calendar.
The new entertainment space will also house Daia and Ultra Lounge, giving the property a broader set of venues tied to the poker festival. The combination of poker, nightlife, and exclusive hospitality areas is expected to frame the event as more than a standalone tournament series.
Inspire’s new area will officially open with the festival, linking the launch of the space directly to the arrival of WPT Seoul. That timing gives the resort’s latest addition an immediate high-profile use.
Resort Expansion In Focus
The new poker room and related venues are being presented as part of Inspire’s wider entertainment expansion. Organisers said the facility had been built with poker in mind and would become the centrepiece of the resort’s upgraded offering.
With 46 events, a guaranteed KRW1.0 billion championship pool, and a venue designed specifically for tournament play, the first WPT Seoul festival gives Inspire a notable addition to its mix of entertainment options. The October launch will also put the resort’s new second-floor space into immediate use when the series gets underway.
