Paradise Co Posts Higher 1H26 Casino Revenue Despite June Dip
Paradise Co said it had earned 5.1% more in casino revenue on a year-over-year basis at KRW477.6 billion or US$308 million in 1H26 despite an unfavorable June. The foreigner-only casino operator based out of South Korea attributed the figure to a positive first half, with a poor June.

June Revenue Softens
Paradise revealed in its Thursday filing that revenues from the casinos during June dropped 21.2% year-on-year and 35.6% month-on-month to reach KRW63.2 billion, or US$40.7 million. No explanation was provided for the drop by the company, but the figures recorded for the month were not as good as those that had been previously recorded.
Casino drop for June came in at KRW641.1 billion, or US$413 million. That was up 10.3% year-on-year, although it was down 16.2% from the previous month. The drop figure suggests continued customer activity even as revenue eased in the final month of the period.
Paradise said it has been on the rise over the past 18 months and posted significant year-on-year gains in 4 of the 6 months so far this year. That broader trend helped offset June’s weaker result and supported the 1H26 revenue total.
Table Games And Machines
The June revenue mix showed contrasting performances across the company’s gaming segments. Table game revenues dropped by 23.6% from the previous year to reach KRW57.6 billion, or US$37.1 million. Meanwhile, machines’ revenue increased by 16.8% to KRW5.56 billion, or US$3.58 million.
That split points to a softer showing in the larger table-game segment, while machine play remained a positive contributor in the month. Even with the decline in table-game revenue, the company’s overall first-half result stayed in positive territory.
Paradise currently runs 4 exclusive facilities for foreigners, including the Paradise City integrated resort in Incheon. The company’s recent results show performance from a larger portfolio of casinos.

Loan Repayment Completed
Separately, Paradise said its subsidiary Paradise Sega Sammy has completed repayment of a KRW100 billion, or US$64.5 million, loan. The loan had previously received a 12-month extension to its original maturity date and was paid off on 31 March 2026.
Paradise Co owns 55% of Paradise Sega Sammy, while Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings holds the remaining 45%. The subsidiary is the operating entity of Paradise City, making the repayment a notable financial update alongside the company’s gaming results.
The company had reported its highest group-wide revenue of KRW1.15 trillion, or US$789 million, and operating income of KRW156.4 billion, or US$107 million, in 2025. This information explains the context for the recent half-yearly results of the company’s casinos.
Half-Year Position
The total casino revenue of KRW477.6 billion for 1H26 reveals that Paradise maintained its lead compared to the previous year despite the negative impact of June on its results. The monthly decrease did not affect the company’s gains, making the result of the first half better than last year.
However, judging from the figures of June, the performance was still inconsistent from one month to another. Even so, the combination of higher 1H26 revenue, continued drop in activity, and the completed loan repayment points to a period in which Paradise stayed active on both the operating and financial fronts.
