Robotics For Resort Security
The firm Aimo Robotics, which operates out of Hong Kong, creates robots for indoor and outdoor use. It makes use of artificial intelligence technology. Its products are mainly geared toward security and surveillance tasks, and Tang said they are already in use outside the gaming sector.
Speaking to GGRAsia at the recent Global Gaming Expo Asia trade show and conference in Macau, Tang said Winning Asia and Aimo Robotics have developed several applications and software tools to support integrated resort operators. These include systems for analysing data captured by patrolling robots, detection alerts and facial recognition.
She also said the robots can be used for more than security work. While patrolling malls or other open areas, they can also carry advertising or other material on their display screens and do marketing work. Some units can even perform concierge-style tasks by answering verbal questions from resort visitors.
Data Use Expands
Tang said Winning Asia hopes to use its AI-powered back-end system to help integrated resort clients analyse robot-captured data for purposes beyond security and surveillance. She suggested the technology could eventually be applied to a wide range of operational needs.
That direction gives the company another business avenue alongside its existing gaming-focused activity. Winning Asia has long been known for its gaming products and slot management systems under the AGT brand, while also distributing casino games from other manufacturers. Its current portfolio includes LT Game Ltd, Gambee d.o.o., Euro Games Technology Ltd, and Jackpot Digital Inc.
Fishing Game Debut
At this year’s G2E Asia event, Winning Asia introduced its new-generation multiplayer fishing game AGT FishKing 8. The game accommodates 8 players simultaneously and has been labeled by the manufacturer as a blend of entertainment and gaming.
Players use a virtual gun to chase after target fishes, and the operator can customize the machine’s returns as well as pick from different betting levels. According to Tang, fishing games are popular in Asia due to their simplicity.
In addition, she says these games are also very popular among tourists who may not be gamblers. According to Tang, its eye-catching sounds, animation, and graphics have already drawn several queries.
Broadening The Customer Base
She stated that baccarat games and slots are particularly appealing to those aged between 40 and 50 years. However, the aim is to attract more age groups in the coming years. Winning Asia is therefore exploring game features that include more innovative elements, with an eye toward attracting younger players.
The company’s latest moves suggest it is positioning itself across both gaming equipment and AI-assisted resort management, while continuing to expand the range of products it offers to casino operators.
