‘Such a Broncos thing to do’: Club legend rips into ‘absolutely appalling’ Brisbane after Dragons loss
Former Brisbane and Queensland great Corey Parker used his breakfast show on SENQ to rip into the Broncos who suffered the ignominy of being the first NRL side to lose to St. George Illawarra since last August.

“The Broncos were absolutely appalling yesterday,” Parker declared of the shock 30-26 loss.
“The Dragons hadn’t won a game all year, it (losing) was such a Broncos thing to do.
“They were totally outplayed… they made late comeback but got what they deserved.”

Parker wasn’t finished, suggesting arguably the most disappointing thing about the loss was that the Broncos side was rested and as strong as it’s been for several weeks with the returns of several key players.
“Aside from what they produced (on the field), they’ve come off a bye,” Parker said.
“They’ve had four days off and they tossed up that?
“I mean, it’s unacceptable.”
Brisbane has now lost four matches in a row and sits two wins outside the NRL top eight, making Saturday night’s local derby against the Gold Coast Titans arguably the most crucial in the Broncos’ season.
