The 2026 NBA Draft class is considered one of the best in recent memory, so much so that teams were accused of tanking throughout the regular season.

With A.J. Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cam Boozer headlining this year’s class, many teams wanted to give themselves a chance to get into the coveted top four. That also led to the NBA changing lottery rules next year as a result of all the perceived tanking.

Therefore, this appears to be the last lottery of the current system, and it could be one of the most important of the past decade. While the first overall pick is obviously the top prize, teams will be thrilled to move up in any capacity for the draft.

The Washington Wizards, Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets lead the way with the best odds to pick first, while the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings follow right behind. Further down the odds, teams like the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors are hoping the lottery can provide a lifeline entering a tumultuous offseason.
