The rollout introduces Stake’s sportsbook and casino platform to one of Latin America’s fastest-growing online gambling markets. Operating via the stake.mx domain, the company will offer its established product to local players, featuring a mobile-first design, advanced technology, and an extensive portfolio of content tailored to regional preferences.

Mexico’s strong sports betting culture, widespread mobile usage, and ongoing digital adoption make it a strategic fit for Stake’s offering. The expansion also reinforces the company’s growing footprint in Latin America, following its progress in markets such as Peru and Colombia.

Stake will operate under a permit-based framework regulated by SEGOB, acting as an agent under Uno Capali’s licence agreement. This structure allows the company to meet local regulatory requirements while establishing a scalable presence aligned with the market.

The timing of the launch is also significant, with Mexico set to co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside the United States and Canada. Entering the market ahead of the tournament presents a key opportunity for brand growth and commercial development.

Stake Director Jarrod Febbraio said:

“Mexico is an important and exciting market for us – one that combines strong underlying growth with a deep cultural connection to sport, which aligns perfectly with what Stake is built for.

We’ve built significant momentum across Latin America in recent years, including in markets such as Peru and Colombia, and Mexico represents a natural next step given its scale and long-term potential.

With Mexico set to co-host the 2026 football World Cup tournament, the timing of this launch reflects our ability to move with precision into high-value markets at the right moment. It gives us the opportunity to establish a strong presence ahead of one of the biggest sporting events in the world and deliver a world-class experience for Mexican players.”
