Brigginshaw was placed on report after making dangerous contact with the kicking leg of star Roosters halfback Tarryn Aiken in the 23rd minute of Sunday’s NRLW Grand Final, won 30-6 by the Roosters.
In real time the incident looked bad and many were surprised Brigginshaw escaped the sin bin.
On Monday the NRLW Match Review Committee hit the Broncos veteran with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge carrying a one-match ban with an early guilty plea.

With Brigginshaw missing out on Jillaroos selection for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup, it means her top-level playing career is officially over.
Earlier this year Brigginshaw also copped a three-match suspension for a Grade 3 dangerous throw that saw her slam Bulldogs halfback Tayla Preston into the turf head first.
Thankfully neither Preston or Aiken were injured in the incidents.
Aiken will be fit to take her place as starting halfback for the Jillaroos when they open their World Cup campaign against Samoa on Friday 16 October at CommBank Stadium.
