Cross-code star Teagan Levi has won the Players’ NRLW Rookie of the Year award after a stunning season for Gold Coast Titans.

Awarded by Select Cards, the 23-year-old became the first Titans player to win the award in the NRLW or NRL.

Levi has been a global star in Rugby Sevens but decided to make the switch to NRLW for the 2026 season.

Her impressive statistics include nine tries, six try assists, 108 average running metres per game, 12 line breaks and 74 tackle breaks.

“On behalf of the RLPA I would like to congratulate Teagan Levi on winning the Players’ Rookie of the Year,” said Clint Newton, CEO of the RLPA.

“Teagan is an elite athlete who made the decision to challenge herself in one of the toughest and most competitive women’s sporting competitions in the world. The way she has stepped up to and embraced that challenge is a creditto her.

“The NRLW continues to grow in quality, depth and professionalism every year, and earning the respect of your peers in that environment is an outstanding achievement.

“Teagan’s ability to come into the competition, adapt quickly and make an immediate impact speaks to her talent, work ethic and competitive drive. To be recognised by the players she competes against each week makes this award particularly significant.

“I would also like to congratulate the four other Finalists, Sariah, Fanua, Lucy and Mercedez, along with all the rookies who made their mark on the 2026 NRLW season.

“The strength of the competition is built on established players continuing to raise the standard and new players coming in ready to meet it. This year’s rookie class has added enormously to the NRLW, and they should all be proud of what they have achieved.”
