The revelations come as a Victoria Police investigation continues into claims an alleged sexual assault occurred at the Swans hotel, with Sydney standing down Bice, Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey and James Jordon for the rest of the AFL season in the aftermath of the alleged incident.

As details in the story continue to unfurl, Bice has been outed as the player who allegedly invited women back to the hotel — with the 25-year-old being the only Swans player without a partner to be linked to the alleged incident.

“[Bice] was the younger teammate, the single teammate, who was given the responsibility of doing something that has ultimately blown up the club and potentially the careers of four teammates,” journalist Tom Morris reported on The Agenda Setters.

“I think he’s a young player that’s been put in a position by older teammates that should know a lot better.”

The fallout to the police investigation is continuing with 5th Quarter Camps — a business set up by Heeney and GWS captain Toby Greene — confirming they will no longer be associated with the Swans superstar.

Heeney has also had his children’s book series Little Isaac Footy Fever pulled from the shelves in bookstores across Australia, while Colgate has also suspended their commercial partnership with him.

Both Heeney and Warner have also been axed by Telstra as brand ambassadors.

AFL CEO Andrew Dillon confirmed to reporters on Monday that the five Sydney players would not be invited to the Brownlow Medal, but would still be eligible for the award.

He also revealed that the governing body hasn’t ruled out deregistering players in the aftermath of the police investigation.
