Jake Allen Reveals Devils’ Goaltending Masks for 2026-27

Goaltender Jake Allen is coming off a 2025-26 season that saw him earn 17 wins, one shutout and a .904 save percentage. But in 2026-27, Allen will be between the pipes in style for the New Jersey Devils.

Sylabrush — which is a professional airbrush artist by Sylvie Marsolais and Alexandre Mathys that specializes in photorealism artwork on goalie masks for the NHL, AHL and more — posted Allen’s new masks online. Their designs for Allen this upcoming season showcase vintage lines with a retro feel. Allen was originally traded to the Devils by the Montreal Canadiens for a conditional pick in the 2025 NHL Draft on March 8, 2024.

Allen also signed a five-year, $9 million contract with the Devils on July 1, 2025, and has become a fan favorite for New Jersey.

The goalie has also made League history, winning the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues in 2019 as the backup to rookie Jordan Binnington. Since joining the Devils, he became the first goalie in NHL history with wins against 33 different franchises.

Jake Allen to rock new masks with Devils in 2026-27

In addition to his efforts on the ice and budding new style, Allen has a passion for philanthropy off the ice. 

Allen regularly donates sets of hockey equipment in partnership with the Smilezone Foundation and NHLPA, in addition to also having raised over one million dollars into giving back to various charities and securing the future of hockey through grassroots programs.

Nico Daws, Jakub Malek and David Rittich are the three other goalies currently listed on the Devils’ roster. New Jersey finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 42-37-3 record for 87 points and missed the postseason by a 10-point mark.

In addition to Allen’s new masks, New Jersey also recently officially retired the «jersey» jerseys after having first unveiled the jersey on Nov. 23, 2021. It served as the organization’s first-ever third jersey and saw inspiration from Hall of Fame goaltender Martin Brodeur.
