Strange rolled his ankle during a training session last week, briefly placing his availability for the series decider in doubt and prompting concern throughout the Blues camp.

After several days of assessment and treatment, NSW medical staff have now given the Canberra star the green light to play.

The news comes as a significant relief for coach Laurie Daley, with Strange viewed as an important member of the squad thanks to his versatility and ability to cover multiple positions.
