Where does Timothee Chalamet live? Here’s a look at his home and how close it is to MSG

Timothee Chalamet grew up as a Knicks fan in New York. But eventually, fame called and so did Hollywood. As a result, Chalamet no longer lives in New York.

As a newbie to Beverly Hills, Chalamet can never stay around for too long when the Knicks are seeing success. He’s often seen in Celebrity Row at Madison Square Garden, making the trip from his California home. 

The Oscar-nominee spent his high school and college years in New York. He didn’t move to Los Angeles until 2022, when he was years removed from his first Oscar nomination. Throughout that time, Chalamet lived in different boroughs and in proximity to different stadiums. He even spent his first Disney check on Knicks season tickets.

Where does Timothee Chalamet live?

After his time at Columbia, Chalamet lived at an apartment in the Bronx, close to Yankee Stadium. At NYU, he lived in an apartment in East Village. Then, in 2020, Chalamet went solo with an apartment in Manhattan on 43rd street. 

In a Jimmy Kimmel interview with Zendaya, it was even revealed that she took on the role of interior designer for Chalamet’s then-barren bachelor pad.

Now, he lives in a Beverly Hills Estate worth $11 million that he bought from actress Kate Upton and MLB star Justin Verlander. 

Despite Chalamet’s constant attendance at Knicks games, he doesn’t actually own or rent a home in New York City. He just has the one property in Beverly Hills.

Distance from Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden about 2,800 miles away from Beverly Hills by car. That’s equivalent to about 41 hours behind the wheel. 

A nonstop flight would take Chalamet about five and a half hours to get to New York, and if he’s got his mind set on a leisurely walk, it would take over 40 days.
