Zitro Pushes FANTASY Cabinet Deeper Into Asia

Gaming technology provider Zitro International is looking to increase the exposure of its FANTASY slot cabinet among Asian operators following impressive feedback from the Americas, Europe, and MEA markets, which were described by the manufacturer as regions that have proven to be receptive toward its products. It was revealed that the cabinet has become increasingly popular within the region, with new games being offered to Asian players.

Early Launch Gains

Bill Stefanakis, director of key accounts at Zitro, said the cabinet has already benefited from a successful launch in the Americas and EMEA, and is now available in Asia with an initial batch of new titles. He cited Brave Dragon and Lion Falls as part of that first wave of games.

According to Stefanakis, the team had done well getting the product approvals in the Philippines market, enabling the provider to launch an outstanding product in the country. The cabinet received its first showing at a global exhibition in Asia as part of Global Gaming Expo Asia 2026 in Macau during May.

Cabinet Strategy

Zitro first debuted the FANTASY line in October last year, before announcing an exclusive lineup of 5 new games a month later. The company has since pointed to the cabinet as a key part of its product strategy, especially because it offers content designed specifically for the platform.

Stefanakis said that while Zitro introduced many new games on its CONCEPT Prime cabinets this year, the FANTASY cabinet is supported by unique and specific game packages that set it apart on a casino floor. He said cabinet-exclusive content remains central to the company’s approach.

Performance And Market Fit

According to Stefanakis, early performance data for the FANTASY cabinet has compared favorably with competing premium and licensed products in international markets. He said that gives the company confidence as it brings the new games to Asian customers.

He also explained that Zitro had been making the recent games suitable for the tastes of Asian players, who he considers a crucial consideration in the company’s regional product strategy. Moreover, he noted that the expanding game library for both the FANTASY and CONCEPT cabinets was a result of continued commitment and focus in Asia.

Philippines And Beyond

The recent trips to Philippine casinos, Stefanakis said, have reinforced the company’s commitment to its positioning in the region. He described the FANTASY product as providing a competitive edge to the operator since operators need to expand their range of products based on data-driven strategies.

Stefanakis said the company remains focused on the Philippines market, where he sees strong demand for product variety. He also noted that Zitro products are already operating successfully in Laos, while discussions started during this year’s G2E Asia trade show pointed to additional growth opportunities across Asia.

Regional Expansion Path

The company’s early progress in Asia suggests that Zitro is now trying to build on the momentum already seen in other regions. In some regions where product approvals are already completed, as well as with games that are suitable for local tastes, the FANTASY cabinet becomes an offer for the entire region and not just a single launch.

Thus, it seems that the current approach taken by Zitro seeks to transform the initial interest in their products into successful adoption in various Asian casinos, including the Philippines.
