Unlike his father, whose public profile was tied to athletics, Tony Bargig became associated with gambling operations and casino businesses. He reportedly spent recent years living primarily in Prague, where he owned and operated gambling-related ventures.

By that point, his name had already appeared repeatedly in Israeli legal proceedings connected to illegal gambling.
