SBC, IAGR, and IMGL Launch Three-Year Regulatory Education Partnership

Global gambling company SBC Events announced a new three-year partnership agreement for three years with the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).

The three parties plan to cooperate in the development of regulatory education and international cooperation in the sphere of global gambling.

The cooperation will focus on organizing various conferences, seminars, and educational projects that will aim to promote the exchange of experience between different stakeholders of the global gambling industry.

Focus on Educational Projects Related to Regulation

The new partnership will involve the creation of educational materials in the form of videos, podcasts, interviews, and publications dedicated to the regulation of the gambling market.

It is worth noting that IAGR is recognized as the leading global association of gambling regulators and is made up exclusively of regulatory bodies. The IMGL represents one of the largest international communities of lawyers, regulatory authorities, and gambling industry specialists. In its turn, SBC is active in organizing international gambling events, producing media content, and creating industry-specific content.

Industry Leaders Discuss the Importance of Collaboration

Ben Haden stressed the significance of dialogue between regulators and gambling operators.

“I would like to highlight that a key opportunity for gambling regulatory authorities throughout the world is the ability to ensure smooth communication with all the participants of the global gambling industry and thus exchange views on changes in rules and regulations of our industry“, he said. “Thanks to our partnership with SBC and IMGL, we will have many opportunities to discuss the current issues with gambling businesses and help each other improve the standards.”

For his part, Marc Dunbar explained the value of joining forces of experts specializing in gambling regulation, law, and gambling industry promotion.

Importance of Regulation in Gambling Industry Growth

Rasmus Sojmark stressed that regulation had become one of the crucial factors determining the work of gambling companies.

“Regulation has never played such a key role in the work of gambling enterprises, and the fast-changing legal framework makes it very hard to keep track of the current trends in gambling regulations. And so, I am delighted to team up with IAGR and IMGL in order to offer the best educational content to our community“, he said.

Currently, gambling markets in different parts of the world, including Latin America, Europe, North America, and Africa, are actively adopting new regulations.

SBC Summit Lisbon and IAGR Conference Highlighted

One of the first big projects within the cooperation framework is planned to be the organization of the regulatory meetings program within SBC Summit Lisbon to be held between September 29 and October 1, 2026.

During the event, the representatives of the global gambling industry will receive important updates regarding the regulation and gambling markets across the world.

Also, SBC Events, IAGR, and IMGL will jointly organize the IAGR Annual Conference that will be held in Lima, Peru, between October 19 and October 22, 2026.
