On a constant-currency basis, the increase was 16.3%. The board has approved an interim dividend of AUD0.50 per share, unfranked, which amounts to AUD301 million, assuming the shares outstanding as of the end of the financial statements date. The record date is set for May 26, while the dividend payout will be made on July 1.

Half-Year Performance

Aristocrat said EBITDA from continuing operations rose 5.6% year-on-year on a reported-currency basis to AUD1.32 billion. On a constant-currency basis, the increase was 13.1%. Revenues for the period were reported to be AUD3.03 billion, falling by 0.2% in reported currency but 6.4% in constant currency.

Net debt was reported to be AUD948.6 million, representing a growth of 123.1% from last year. According to Aristocrat, the company’s performance was attributed to disciplined management, high levels of momentum within revenues, and efforts geared toward improving efficiency and operating leverage. Trevor Croker, CEO & MD, noted that the company had delivered a strong first half, marked by significant progress within the business.

Croker also said earnings growth was supported by disciplined execution, revenue momentum throughout the portfolio, and a continued emphasis on efficiency. The company’s half-year figures follow a restructuring of its digital operating segments in the previous financial year ended September 30, 2025.

Gaming Segment Momentum

Aristocrat’s gaming segment posted a profit of AUD1.06 billion for the half year, up 3.0% year-on-year, on revenue of AUD1.96 billion. Within that business, the “rest of the world” category, which includes casino slot machine sales in Asia-Pacific, generated revenue of AUD403.7 million, up 18.3% from a year earlier.

EBITDA generated by the rest of the world division totaled AUD184.1 million, showing a growth of 22.0%. Aristocrat has shipped 2,799 units to the rest of the world during the current reporting period, compared to 2,964 units in the corresponding period last year.

The group’s 3 main segments are gaming, Product Madness, and interactive. Gaming covers casino slot machine equipment, Product Madness focuses on social gaming products, while interactive includes gaming systems, iLottery, iGaming, and sports, iGaming white-label, and content and aggregation.

Dividend And Board Update

Alongside the results, Aristocrat announced a change to its board. The company said on Tuesday that Michael Rumbolz has been nominated as a non-executive director, effective from July 1, subject to regulatory approvals. Rumbolz was executive chairman of gaming supplier Everi Holdings Inc until July last year.

Croker said Rumbolz brings more than 45 years of gaming industry experience and said the company was pleased to welcome someone of his calibre to the board. Aristocrat also said Rumbolz currently serves as a director of Vici Properties Inc, a US real estate investment trust focused on casino and entertainment properties, and is a member of the board of managers of Seminole Hard Rock International, LLC.

The interim dividend adds another cash return to shareholders as the company continues to report improved half-year earnings and steady growth across parts of its portfolio.
