Originally named on the extended reserves bench for Round 9, Bostock comes into the starting side at the expense of Trai Fuller who has been sent back to Q Cup.
Bostock only made his return to rugby league last weekend scoring two tries in 10 minutes for the Dolphins’ Q Cup side and coach Kristian Woolf will no doubt be hoping the 22-year-old can make an equally big impact in his first NRL start since June 2025.
While his return has been confirmed, it remains to be seen where Bostock actually plays in the revamped Dolphins backline missing Jake Averillo (hand) and Kodi Nikorima (suspension).

Despite coming into the Round 9 squad for Fuller who had been named in the centres, there’s every chance Selwyn Cobbo will switch into the centres freeing Bostock to assume his usual role on the wing.

Enjoying a career-best season in 2025, Bostock had scored nine tries in 13 matches before rupturing his ACL against Newcastle in Round 16 at Perth’s HBF Park.
In another boost for the 12th-placed Dolphins forward utility Kurt Donoghoe will make his injury return off the bench for his second appearance of the 2026 season.
Meanwhile, in far less welcome news there are reports in The Courier Mail that Dolphins prop Daniel Saifiti may be forced into medical retirement following setbacks in his recovery from shoulder surgery.
