Round 9 instead begins on Friday with the Bulldogs hosting the Cowboys in Sydney and the Dolphins welcoming a desperate Storm side to Suncorp Stadium.
Saturday’s action starts on the Gold Coast before two matches in Sydney headlined by the heavyweight Roosters-Broncos clash at Allianz.
A Sunday triple-header concludes with the Panthers tackling the Sea Eagles at CommBank Stadium.
The Dragons have the bye and a guaranteed two points.
