Improved Operating Trend
As reported by local media site Chosen Biz, citing the analyst’s words, Jeju Dream Tower managed to stabilize its work and enter the next stage of sustainable development. This allowed the resolution of the previous problems with investors, especially considering that the company began to generate a net profit again after last year.
Recent operating data supports that view. From January-March, tourist arrivals in Jeju increased by 29.1% year over year. In the same period, there was a 27.9% increase in hotel revenue at Jeju Dream Tower and a 40.3% increase in casino revenue.
In the opinion of the analyst, the above data speak about the momentum of development of the object, and not about any temporary successes. Taking into account the growth of visitors’ turnover and gambling, one can assume that Jeju Dream Tower benefits from increasing demand for several areas of its work.
Casino Sales Strength
Jeju Dream Tower’s foreigner-only casino, which is operated by Lotte Tour Development, recorded a 40.3% year-on-year increase in casino sales in the first quarter of 2026, reaching KRW118.63 billion ($78.9 million). The growth was driven by strong table game performance and continued international visitation.
Casino drop also rose 36.7% year on year, which suggests the revenue increase was supported by higher player volumes rather than by short-term fluctuations in hold rates. That detail adds another layer to the broader improvement, indicating that customer spending has remained solid alongside the rise in arrivals.
The analyst said the property has now fully settled and is benefiting from stronger demand fundamentals. He also noted that the improved performance is giving the company more confidence, which in turn is allowing for more aggressive marketing efforts.

Tourism Policy Support
Tourism is expected to be further bolstered through government policies to encourage increased traffic to Jeju. Incentives for the expansion of international flight paths include subsidies for revenues lost in the early stages of new flights. This would help attract additional international airlines and enhance connectivity to the region.
These steps are expected to help widen access to Jeju and strengthen visitor flows over time. The analyst said the combination of policy support and improved operating conditions is helping reinforce the positive trend at the property.
Drivers of Demand
The optimistic forecast is backed up by Chinese tourist flows, alongside stable flows from Japan and Southeast Asia. He said that demand from those countries will continue driving the rise of visitor numbers and gaming volumes.
The analyst also pointed out that the current trend of people choosing closer and safer destinations favors Jeju Island. It contributes to growing interest in the place and drives demand there.
For Lotte Tour Development, the latest figures suggest that Jeju Dream Tower is moving beyond its earlier transition period and into a more durable growth phase. With arrivals, hotel sales, and casino revenue all rising, the company’s operating outlook appears to be strengthening further.
