Jonas Ericson joins Avanti Studios as Chief Financial Officer

Avanti Studios has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of former Klarna executive Jonas Ericson as Chief Financial Officer, marking the company’s second major C-Level hire in recent weeks.

Avanti Studios, a software supplier combining motion capture technology with real-time cloud-based streaming for live casino, has named Jonas Ericson as its new Chief Financial Officer.

The appointment follows the arrival of Steven Tabone as Commercial Director last month and forms part of Avanti Studios’ efforts to build a C-Level team capable of supporting its next phase of international growth.

Ericson Joins Following Six-and-a-Half Years at Klarna

Ericson moves to Avanti Studios after spending six-and-a-half years with international payments company and bank Klarna.

He initially joined Klarna as Financial Transformation Lead before progressing through the organisation and eventually becoming Global Head of Finance.

During his time at the company, Ericson held a range of responsibilities, including supporting Klarna’s expansion into new international markets and helping implement new FinTech products.

He was also involved in the strategic and operational development of accounting competence and led multiple teams within the company’s finance function.

New CFO to Oversee Financial Strategy

In his new position at Avanti Studios, Ericson will be responsible for the company’s financial strategy, operations and analysis, alongside investment and risk management.

His remit will also include helping ensure the business remains profitable and compliant as it continues its development.

The appointment comes just weeks after Avanti Studios brought Steven Tabone into the business as Commercial Director, further expanding its senior management team.
