PSG only welcomed back the remainder of their first-team stars to training on Monday, with many given extended time off after the World Cup, so there may be something experimental about their lineup, much as there was against Manchester United last Saturday.
If Achraf Hakimi is still not available to start, youngster David Boly could keep his place at right-back. Lucas Beraldo may continue in midfield in the absence of Fabian Ruiz and Warren Zaire-Emery, who both returned to training on Monday. That would see Illia Zabarnyi partner Willian Pacho at centre-back.

Lucas Digne, who joined PSG from Villa in this transfer window, will likely be on the bench.
In attack, Bradley Barcola’s involvement is unclear given both his post-World Cup break and reported transfer interest from the Premier League. Adam Ayari may once more lead the line alongside Ibrahim Mbaye and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
PSG predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Safonov (GK) — Boly, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Mendes — Vitinha, Beraldo, Joao Neves — Mbaye, Ayari, Kvaratskhelia.
Villa fielded something of a mixed team in their friendly loss to Bayern last week, but they should be in a position to field a stronger side on Wednesday.
Amadou Onana is missing with a serious knee injury sustained in the World Cup, and with Youri Tielemans having signed for Manchester United, Villa’s central midfield is looking thin. Talks for Bayern’s Joao Palhinha are unlikely to progress quickly enough for the player to be involved here.
Alejandro Garnacho, John McGinn, Tammy Abraham and Ollie Watkins could all come into the starting XI. Johan Manzambi may be given his official debut.
Aston Villa predicted XI (4-4-1-1 right to left): Bizot (GK) — Cash, Lindelof, Torres, Maatsen — Manzambi, Joao Gomes, Kamara, McGinn — Buendia — Abraham.
