The company posted revenue of $684 million for the second quarter of 2026, an 18% increase from the $579 million recorded a year earlier. Profit swung sharply to $123 million, compared with a $3 million loss in the same period last year.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 30% to $204 million, pushing margins to a record 30%. Monthly active customers climbed 13% to 6.2 million, reflecting the scale of engagement during the tournament.

The quarter also marked all‑time highs across deposits and wagering, reinforcing the impact of the World Cup on Super Group’s performance.

Alongside the financial results, the company announced a training kit sponsorship deal with Manchester United for its Betway brand, a move that comes despite the Premier League’s voluntary ban on front‑of‑shirt gambling sponsorships.

Chief executive Neal Menashe stressed that the record results were not solely tied to the World Cup. “The second quarter generated record performance across Super Group, marking all-time highs in revenue, adjusted EBITDA, deposits and wagering,” he said.

“While we maximised the commercial boost from the FIFA World Cup, these results once again demonstrate the core strength of our casino-led, diversified business model, disciplined execution, and highly durable customer base.”

$2.6bn total revenue expected for 2026

Super Group lifted its full‑year guidance after the record second quarter, telling investors it now expects total revenue to top $2.6 billion.

That figure is slightly higher than the earlier forecast of more than $2.55 billion. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was also raised, moving from above $680 million to more than $710 million.

The group closed June with $548 million in cash and no debt, underlining its strong financial position. During the quarter, $25 million was returned to shareholders through dividends, bringing total capital returned over the past year to $218 million.

Regional performance showed Africa as a standout, with revenue climbing 36% to $310 million. International markets, including Europe and the Americas, delivered 7% growth to $368 million.

Online casino continued to lead the way, rising 16% year‑on‑year to $527 million, while sports betting grew 29% to $150 million.
