The Roosters are taking no chances with Lindsay Collins (concussion) who is being given an extended break following his latest head knock and may not return until Round 23 or later. Veteran winger Daniel Tupou came off the field early in the second half against the Knights with a dislocated shoulder and is expected to miss the next five weeks. Having just signed a two-year extension Hugo Savala will likely return to the centres with Billy Smith shifting to the wing.

Amidst devastating scenes Dylan Lucas suffered dislocated and fractured ankle in the same match and also will miss the rest of 2026 in another hammer blow to the Knights’ finals chances. In better news barnstorming back rower Jermaine McEwen (hamstring) is getting close to a return but Jacob Saifiti (hamstring) is still a few weeks away.
