Gambling.com Group Rebrands as Grandstand, Reflecting Shift Beyond Affiliate Marketing

Gambling.com Group is leaving its corporate name behind after years of expanding well beyond the business that first defined it. Starting July 23, the Nasdaq-listed company will trade under the ticker symbol GRSD, marking the formal debut of its new identity: Grandstand Limited.

The move is more than a cosmetic change. Since going public in 2021, the company has steadily broadened its reach across sports data, technology, advertising and audience monetization, reducing the emphasis on its original performance marketing roots. Management now argues the previous corporate name no longer reflected the breadth of the business it has assembled.

Its consumer-facing Gambling.com website will remain in operation, continuing to serve as one of several brands within the broader portfolio rather than representing the company as a whole.

Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Kevin McCrystle presented the rebranding as recognition of the company’s evolving role across sports, gaming and entertainment. Rather than positioning itself solely as a marketing business, Grandstand describes its function as providing the data, technology and audience infrastructure that supports both consumers making betting decisions and commercial partners operating across the industry.

From Consumer Brands to Enterprise Services

That transformation has been built through a collection of acquisitions and product expansion over recent years. Today the company owns brands that cater to different segments of the market, including OddsJam for sports betting intelligence, RotoWire for fantasy sports analysis, Casinos.com, WhichBingo and Gambling.com. Collectively, those properties attract millions of users seeking betting comparisons, fantasy sports information and gaming-related content.

Behind those consumer brands sits a business aimed increasingly at enterprise customers.

Grandstand’s sports data division supplies real-time odds, injury updates, line movement and related information to sportsbooks, market makers, trading operations, fantasy platforms and sports media through OpticOdds and RotoWire. The company has also expanded its advertising technology offerings, allowing casino and sportsbook operators to target audiences across its owned media properties.

Another area of growth has been audience monetization. Through Grandstand Partners, the company provides technology and commercial services designed to help publishers, digital communities, applications and content creators generate revenue from their audiences. In Las Vegas, its Spotlight.Vegas business focuses on ticketing, attractions and entertainment experiences connected to casinos, hotels and venues.

The name change also creates a clearer distinction between the listed company and one of its best-known consumer brands. While Gambling.com will continue operating under its established name, Grandstand becomes the umbrella identity for a portfolio that management says now extends well beyond gambling affiliate marketing.

For investors, the transition is largely administrative. Existing shareholders are not required to exchange shares or take any action. The company’s listing remains on the Nasdaq Global Market, its CUSIP number is unchanged, and its new corporate website is now operating under the Grandstand domain.
