Specifically, they found the water bottle of England’s goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford. And on the side of the bottle were Pickford’s penalty notes.
No, they probably weren’t compiled by Pickford himself, but they were certainly for him to use.
If the match had gone to penalties, Pickford would’ve had directives for himself on where to go against whoever was coming up to shoot against him.

How did Argentina get Jordan Pickford’s water bottle with penalty notes?
Pickford, or whatever staffer was in charge of it, likely left the bottle there after the heartbreaking defeat.
There was no guarantee Argentina would find it, but apparently someone did.
It’s not exactly ground-breaking stuff, because it’s really just telling Argentina’s players their own tendencies.

It’s still fascinating to see it circulating social media, though, because it’s one of those things everyone knows the goalie has but that rarely gets seen.
