Erling Haaland’s brace led Norway to a 4-1 victory over Iraq to begin group-stage play, keeping pace with France atop the standings. With those two to meet in their Group I finale on Friday, the Vikings will hope they can enter that game with a chance to win the group should they spring an upset.
Senegal, however, are looking to avoid two defeats in two to start the group stage after they fell 3-1 to France in the opening round. The Lions of Teranga were effective in neutralizing the potent France offense in the first half but crumbled to pieces as Kylian Mbappe terrorized them after the break.
