INSPIRE Expands Casino Floor With IDX X-Trend Technology
INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is moving ahead with its casino expansion using IDX Games’ X-Trend technology and display systems. The agreement follows the successful deployment of the same system across the resort’s existing 110 casino tables, with the new extension set to increase the installation footprint by another 30%.

The partnership comes as INSPIRE continues to build out its casino operations under Bain Capital’s stewardship. The Incheon property has been pressing forward with an ambitious expansion plan aimed at supporting regional growth, and the latest deal with IDX adds another layer to that effort.
New Extension Plans
IDX Games said it will supply its premium X-Trend and display systems to support the property’s new casino extension. The company has already worked with INSPIRE on the existing setup, and the latest order signals renewed confidence in the supplier’s product and service offering. For the new area, INSPIRE will also install IDX Halo table displays to further enhance the original configuration.
Will Donghyung Lee, AVP of Casino Operations at INSPIRE, said the company has been pleased with IDX’s trendboard product and the service it has provided for the casino floor. His comments reflect a continuation of the existing relationship rather than a new trial arrangement, with the property choosing to deepen its reliance on the same technology platform for the next phase of its expansion.
The additional tables and display systems will broaden the resort’s casino coverage and strengthen the technology base already in place. With the new extension, the resort is adding to an installation that has already proven itself across a sizeable portion of the floor.
IDX Sees Demand Rise
Peter Johns, Chief Commercial Officer at IDX Games Ltd, said the selection for the new table extension at INSPIRE Casino shows satisfaction with the company’s products and software. He added that as the business expands its digital displays and signage range, demand for its high-quality displays has increased, with those products complementing the X-Trend solution.
Johns also said the company now covers all game trendboards and has expanded into bonus and jackpot games for casino operations. That broader product set appears to be part of the company’s strategy as it deepens its casino presence and looks to support additional floor applications beyond the core trendboard function.
The INSPIRE deal follows another recent announcement from IDX, which revealed last month that Westside Resort will deploy the X-Trend display system across 250 gaming tables when the property opens later this year in Manila’s Entertainment City. Together, the two projects highlight the supplier’s growing footprint across regional casino developments.
Resort Expansion Continues
INSPIRE’s latest move comes as the multibillion-dollar resort continues to advance its wider expansion plan. The property, located in Incheon, is pushing ahead under Bain Capital’s control and has been working to accelerate its growth as a major integrated resort.
In February, the company named Steven Wolstenholme as its new Chief Casino Officer. INSPIRE CEO Gyubum Ko said at the time that the appointment was intended to further accelerate the resort’s growth as a world-class integrated property delivering the ultimate Playcation experience. The change in the staffing arrangement and the latest deal with IDX Technology Corp. reflect a more general strategy to beef up operations on the casino front while continuing to develop the resort facilities.
The latest partnership with IDX is part of a larger trend at INSPIRE, in which operational improvements and structural changes coincide with the overall developmental trajectory of the property.
