Instead, Buffalo has seven total picks, with five of them being on day three. This means that a majority of the Bills draft goals will be finding late-round talent.

Bills NFL Draft needs

  • Pass rushing: The major focus for the Bills in this draft is creating a stronger overall defensive unit. Pass rushers will be the primary focus for the Bills, who finished 20th in the NFL last season in sacks. An edge rusher could be priority number one for a strong Bills team to fill in the gaps.
  • High-upside receivers: The Bills are in an interesting position with passing options. On one hand, they have a few strong options for Josh Allen to target, but also no stars in the WR room. Should they find themselves in the right spot at the right time, this could be a prime chance to grab a WR who slips down to No. 26.
  • Overall defense: It wouldn’t be a shock if Buffalo used at least four or five picks on defense in this draft. With a need to provide more stable defensive coverage, Buffalo could grab a linebacker, cornerback and defensive tackle this time around, depending on who falls to them at the right time.
