How many laps is the Bathurst 1000?

The winning car completes 161 laps around Mount Panorama during the Bathurst 1000.

Each lap is 6.213 kilometres adding up to the famous 1,000km mark.

What is the fastest lap recorded at Mount Panorama?

Chaz Mostert holds the current Supercar lap record during a Bathurst 1000, whipping around the track in a time of 2:03.3736 during the Top 10 Shootout in 2021.

As far as unofficial laps go? It’s no major surprise that a Formula 1 machine holds the record by a significant margin.

Jenson Button flung a McLaren MP4-23 around the Bathurst track during an exhibition session in 2011 in a sizzling time of 1:48.88.
