Two former NFL players have gone viral for their public feud, taking shots at one another and going face-to-face to argue.

Leonard Fournette, Emmanuel Acho exchange shots in podcast beef

Acho has become one of the more prominent names in the world of NFL hot takes, now the host of a YouTube show named «Speakeasy» with LeSean McCoy.

In the aftermath of Williams’ injury diagnosis — which resulted in memes and fans poking fun at the Bears quarterback for his tearful reaction to an injury that wasn’t as bad as anticipated — Acho called out Williams.

“Crying on the cart fist pump is reserved for done for season or career,” Acho said. “You cannot cry on a cart and walk out the stadium.”

In response, Fournette, on his own podcast, «4th And South,» called out Acho for «clickbait,» defending Williams. The former running back also said he wanted to «set up a fight» against Acho.

“Emmanuel Acho, how you gonna tell somebody how to cope with the injury? You said he’s fist pumping … I see why people don’t like you. Like you say s— for clickbait,” Fournette said on his “4th and South” podcast. “And you know for a fact all the f—ing hard work we put in in the summertime. How can you say that, bro? Nobody wants to be hurt. Nobody wants to miss out on an opportunity to help their team win.

“Emmanuel Acho, stop clickbaiting, bro. Stop doing that. I’m going to call Adin Ross. Boy, we gonna set up a fight. I’m going to DDT the f— out of you, I got to. Because why you doing this to those young guys? Stop letting this man hop on his mic and say this dumb s— about these young days. I’m not about to sit up there and down talk another man, especially when he’s hurt. You don’t do that, that’s weak.»

Acho, of course, responded to Fournette’s comments, also declining the invitation to fight. He also called out Fournette for mis-pronouncing his name.

“People who always rush to fight have only trained their body and they haven’t trained their brain. Because I’ve trained my brain, why would I resort to only using my body?” Acho said on his “Speakeasy” podcast. “See, Leonard, I really question your intelligence because you can’t even pronounced a four-letter word — Acho, not echo — but now I’m over here thinking the biggest word you probably know is your name. But that’s probably why they called you Lenny because I don’t even know if you can spell your own name. Struggling on a Scantron as a kid like, ‘Where’s the H in Leonard?’”

“I’m not going to sit here and try to address you physically because you got that. You’re a first-round pick, bro. Congratulation to you. With that being said, you’re retired so hang up the athletic dreams. Pick up a book, you don’t need to be hooked on creatine, you don’t need to be hooked on the weights, maybe try Hooked On Phonics. That’s the dilemma. I’m not going to sit here and try to like combat with somebody physically, I’m done training physically. I train intellectually. I would encourage you to do the same thing.”

Eventually, the two were able to appear live together on Acho’s «Speakeasy» podcast, continuing their exchange. Fournette called out Acho for not having an impressive NFL career, saying he’s «never been game planned on,» and accused him of not attacking «the caucasian athletes like that.»

«For a guy in your standard that’s never been game planned on… you’ve never been a part of a game plan where a coach goes ‘Alright we gotta circle this guy and worry about him,'» Fournette said. «You didn’t accomplish nothing.»

Fournette continued, saying: «Why is a practice squad guy speaking on starters?»

They also argued about their respective educations, with Fournette telling Acho to «get a refund for that bulls—» about his master’s degree.

Finally, Fournette called out Acho for not building his own YouTube platform.

While it doesn’t appear the two will be engaging in any physical altercations, as Fournette invited, they’ve continued to take shots at one another, leaving football fans to break down the beef online.
