Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn is on Sunday, September 13 (AEST) in Las Vegas. The main card starts at 10:00am (AEST) and the main event should begin around 1:30pm (AEST) depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Opetaia vs. Mikaelian will begin approximately one hour before main event between Garcia and Benn commences.

Garcia (25-2) is one of boxing’s biggest draws. The controversial figure couldn’t win the WBC title against Devin Haney after failing to make weight and got dropped by Rolando Romero when competing for the WBA belt. In his third attempt at world gold, he beat Mario Barrios.

The 28-year-old has 20 knockout wins. He can talk the talk and looks to prove he’s worthy of holding gold and that his bite is just as bad as his bark.

«At the end of the day…his dad is the only reason he’s at this point in his career,» Garcia told Piers Morgan via Bad Left Hook. «So I’m really getting paid a bunch of money to beat up a beginner.

«This dude is not on my level, he’s a jokester, and he’s banking that supposedly I don’t work hard, which everybody says. It’s kind of boring at this point, the narrative is just — bro, come up with something else.»

Benn (25-1) underwent a two-year battle with anti-doping authorities following what was believed to be a «highly elevated consumption of eggs,» getting suspended by the U.K. Anti-Doping Agency. He later went 1-1 against Chris Eubank Jr., signed with Zuffa and beat Regis Prograis.

The 29-year-old looks for world gold in his first attempt. He’s supposed to be ready for a 147-pound fight, a weight Benn hasn’t been at since 2022. While it looks like he’s struggled during the process, he’s still making fight week obligations, while Garcia hasn’t. Benn believes his skills will be showcased on fight night.

«I’m coming with the smoke, I’m coming with it for sure…Who knows where is mental state is,» Benn said to The Ring via Bad Left Hook. «All I can speak of is my behalf and we’ve prepared diligently hard.

«I’ve given 110% this camp, I’ve put my body through hell…I think in life nothing worth having comes easy, right? So we always knew it was going to be hard to get back down to 147, but it’s what I want to do.»
