De Minaur will face qualifier Andrea Guerrieri in the opening round on Tuesday, September 1at Flushing Meadows (local time). The match is currently scheduled to begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. in New York.

Here’s how that start time translates across Australia:

De Minaur’s opening match will take place on the Grandstand Stadium, the third largest show court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre with a capacity of 8,125 seats.

In 2026 De Minaur is aiming to improve on his quarter-finals exit at the past two editions of the US Open.

Should he progress through the opening three rounds he faces a potential fourth-round clash with 19-year-old Spanish world No.13 Rafael Jódar who humbled de Minaur in straight sets in their only previous meeting at this year’s Madrid Open.

The winner of that match would likely then meet world No.2 and French Open Alexander Zverev in the quarter finals.

Zverev enters this year’s US Open as top seed in the men’s singles due to the injury absence of world No.1 Jannik Sinner.
