Cubeia Appoints Christian Karlsson as Chief Revenue Officer

Karlsson joins Cubeia with more than ten years of leadership experience spanning fintech, identity verification, payments, and iGaming. Most recently, he served at Checkin.com, the Nasdaq First North Stockholm-listed identity verification and fintech company (CHECK), where he held the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer between 2024 and 2025 after spending six years as Chief Commercial Officer. During his tenure, he also led GetID, the group’s biometric identity verification subsidiary, as Chief Executive Officer.
Extensive Experience Across Fintech and iGaming
Before joining Checkin.com, Karlsson held senior commercial positions within the iGaming sector. He served as Head of Client Operations at Gaming Innovation Group and previously led payments and fraud strategy at LeoVegas as Head of Payments and Fraud.
In his new role, Karlsson will oversee Cubeia’s global revenue strategy. He will work closely with the company’s product and technical teams to help operator partners launch, expand, and maintain compliance across both established and emerging markets.
