Rainbet Brings Justin Gaethje on Board as Crypto Casino Marketing Battle Intensifies
Rainbet has recruited one of the UFC’s biggest stars as its newest brand ambassador, adding former interim lightweight champion and former BMF titleholder Justin Gaethje to its growing list of promotional partners.

The partnership first came to light during UFC Fight Night on July 18. Gaethje was shown in the crowd wearing a Rainbet T-shirt, with the company’s logo clearly visible during the official broadcast. Shortly afterwards, Rainbet shared the clip on its X account, effectively confirming the collaboration.
The appearance was brief, but it carried a clear marketing message. Rather than announcing the deal through a traditional campaign, Rainbet used one of the sport’s biggest broadcasts to introduce its newest ambassador to millions of UFC viewers.
A Change of Crypto Gambling Partners
The move also marks a shift for Gaethje.
Earlier this year, the American fighter became a brand ambassador for crypto casino and sportsbook Duelbits, appearing in promotional campaigns and branded content for the operator.
His appearance in Rainbet branding suggests that partnership has now been replaced by a new commercial agreement, although neither company has disclosed details of the transition or the value of the deal.
Athlete sponsorships are increasingly competitive in the crypto gambling sector, where operators frequently rely on high-profile personalities instead of traditional advertising to expand their reach.
UFC Continues to Attract Betting Brands
Rainbet’s latest signing reflects a broader trend across the industry. Crypto casinos have invested heavily in combat sports over the past few years, recognising the UFC’s global audience and the strong overlap between MMA fans, sports bettors and cryptocurrency users.
Gaethje remains one of the sport’s most recognisable figures. A former UFC interim lightweight champion and former BMF champion, he has built a reputation through action-heavy fights and has remained one of the promotion’s most marketable athletes.
For gambling operators, that visibility has obvious value.
Duelbits recently reported that a marketing campaign built around Gaethje generated more than 122 million verified video views ahead of a major UFC event, illustrating the commercial impact a single fighter can have for a crypto betting brand.
Rainbet appears to be betting that the same formula can strengthen its own profile. By introducing Gaethje during a live UFC broadcast rather than through a conventional announcement, the operator ensured its branding reached fans in the environment where they are already most engaged.
