Paribu Integrates Polymarket for Turkish Users
Turkey’s largest cryptocurrency exchange has opened the door to prediction markets without asking users to leave its platform.

From July 1, Paribu users can trade contracts from Polymarket directly inside the exchange through a built-in self-custody wallet. The update removes several of the hurdles that have traditionally come with decentralized finance. There is no need to install a separate Web3 wallet, manage seed phrases, create another account, or fund transactions with gas fees before getting started.
The same rollout also introduces perpetual contracts from Hyperliquid, expanding Paribu’s trading offering beyond spot crypto.
A simpler path into decentralized markets
Rather than sending customers to an external application, Paribu has folded decentralized trading into its existing interface. Users keep control of their assets through an integrated self-custody wallet while transactions are executed and settled on-chain.
The system relies on the company’s ColdShield infrastructure together with passkey authentication from Clave. Paribu presents the model as a single platform that combines the convenience of a centralized exchange with direct access to decentralized products.
That approach reflects a wider effort across the crypto industry to make DeFi services accessible to mainstream users who may be discouraged by the technical setup usually required.
Not every Polymarket contract is available
The Turkish version of Polymarket looks different from the one available internationally.

Paribu reviews contracts before listing them in the app, taking factors such as liquidity, credibility, and risk into account. Entire categories have also been excluded. Sports, esports, and Turkish political markets are unavailable, a move that aligns with the country’s strict rules on online betting and gambling.
Instead, the exchange is steering users toward contracts tied to subjects such as global politics, economics, and broader cultural events rather than sports wagering.
Prediction markets themselves remain in a legal gray area in Turkey. Paribu maintains that access is provided through the embedded DeFi wallet and is not offered as a regulated exchange service.
Expansion continues as crypto demand stays high
The launch comes as Turkey remains one of the world’s busiest retail cryptocurrency markets. During the first quarter of 2026, retail crypto trading in the country reached around $40 billion, placing Turkey fifth globally by activity.
Paribu is also preparing for a broader expansion beyond digital assets. The company has already secured foundational approval from Turkey’s Capital Markets Board and is waiting for a final operating license that would allow customers to trade shares listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, and Borsa Istanbul through the same application. A waiting list for the stock trading service is already open.
Paribu has not indicated whether more decentralized products will be added before the end of 2026, but the latest rollout suggests the company is continuing to build toward a broader all-in-one financial platform.
