NRL 2026 team lists: Every club’s confirmed lineup for Round 13

A swathe of stars will be hoping to back up from State of Origin Game I but as usual many will no doubt drop out later in the week, especially in the forwards.

Round 13 begins with the battle of the beaches on Friday night as the Sharks host the high-flying Sea Eagles who are chasing their eighth win from nine matches under Kieran Foran.

Saturday sees three matches headlined by the Storm-Roosters clash in Melbourne, while the weekend will close out with a top-of-the-table clash between the Panthers and Warriors on Sunday night.

The Dolphins, Titans and Rabbitohs have a bye.

Sharks team news: 

In a massive blow to the Sharks star playmaker Nicho Hynes has a picked up a calf strain and is replaced in the halves by debutant Niwhai Puru.

Skipper Blayke Brailey will be hopeful of returning to the No.9 jersey after Origin with Hohepa Puru moving to the bench.

Addin Fonua-Blake and Briton Nikora have been named to back up just 48 hours after Origin I but it wouldn’t surprise to see one, if not both, rested. Cameron McInnes returns to the starting 13 with Jesse Colquhoun named on the reserves.

Sione Katoa (ankle) is getting close to a return but has not been named.

Haumole Olakau’atu and Tolu Koula will be looking to back up from Origin, but for now both have only been named on the extended reserves.

Lehi Hopoate returns from a one-week suspension while Ben Trbojevic has been named despite suffering suffering a concussion against the Titans.

The impressive Clayton Faulalo will continue to deputise at fullback with Tom Trbojevic (hamstring) still on the sidelines.

In a major blow captain Mitchell Moses looks set for time on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in camp with NSW.

Isaiah Iongi returns at fullback with Joash Papali’i named at No.6and Ronald Volkman shifting to halfback. Once again Jonah Pezet has not been named, this time reportedly due to a hamstring issue.

Sam Tuivaiti (shoulder) is on the extended reserves while it’s feared veteran prop Junior Paulo could be out for up to two months with a knee injury.

Taylan May (shoulder) is out, possibly for the season, while Jock Madden is struggling with a hamstring but has been named at No.7.

Api Koroisau is back from suspension while Heamasi Makasini (foot) and Alex Twal (knee) also return this week.

With Patrick Herbert (suspension) is unavailable until Round 15, Sunia Turuva will cover in the centres for the fifth time this season.

Captain Stephen Crichton could return from NSW Blues duty but for now is on the reserves with Enari Tuala named in the centres.

Sam Hughes (neck) remains out but fellow forward Josh Curran (ribs) returns.

A late change saw Kurt Mann start at hooker against the Storm and he’ll do so again with Bailey Hayward to come off the bench.

Matt Burton scored a late call-up to the NSW Origin side and will be backing up.

The Storm gave up yet another half time lead against the Bulldogs and will be desperate to have Cameron Munster,  Harry Grant and Trent Loiero back on deck in Round 13 after Origin I.

One player who definitely won’t be there is Shawn Blore who has been ruled out after a Cat 1 HIA against the Bulldogs.

Xavier Coates is getting close to a return from Achilles surgery remains on the sidelines.

Back rower Jordan Riki has had surgery to relieve a plantar fasciitis issue in his foot and will miss multiple weeks.
