NRL 2026 team lists: Every club’s predicted lineup for Round 12

The 2026 State of Origin series is just a week away and the game’s top players are heading into camp with NSW and Queensland.

With seven NRL teams having a bye in Round 12 there are just five matches this weekend, beginning with the Raiders and Dolphins in Canberra on Thursday night.

The Bulldogs and Storm then square off in Sydney on Friday night before the shortened round ends in Townsville on Sunday afternoon with the Cowboys hosting the Rabbitohs.

Canberra Raiders vs. Dolphins

Dolphins team news:

The Dolphins have five players in Maroons camp for Origin forcing some major selection reshuffles.

Jeremy Marshall-King should come straight into the starting lineup as hooker for Max Plath. Tom Gilbert is set to replace Tom Flegler while Kulikefu Finefeuiaki should be free to play after being named 20th man for Queensland.

In the backline Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo are out with Trai Fuller and Tevita Naufahu likely to take their places.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs. Melbourne Storm

(Friday, May 22 at Accors Stadium, 8:00pm AEST)

Bulldogs team news: 

The Bulldogs’ back three struggled against the Sharks and changes seem likely after five losses in a row. Marcelo Montoya should return in place of Jonathan Sua while Jethro Rinakama shapes a chance to appear in the other wing should Jacob Kiraz (knee) remain out.

If Kiraz is fit, there’s even the possibility he could come in at fullback with serious questions being asked about the form of Connor Tracey.

Captain Stephen Crichton is in camp with the NSW Blues, creating the ideal opportunity for Matt Burton to potentially shift into the centres.

Forwards Sam Hughes (neck) and Josh Curran (ribs) missed Magic Round through injury and it’s unclear if either will be available this week.

Hooker Bailey Hayward has been under some scrutiny and don’t be surprised to see a change with Kurt Mann potentially named at No.9 having missed out on Queensland selection.

Storm team news:

Cameron Munster,  Harry Grant and Trent Loiero are all on Maroons duty, creating some real depth headaches for Craig Bellamy with Tyran Wishart (ankle) unavailable for another month. 

Storm NSW Cup hooker Gabriel Satrick could bea chance of filling in for Grant at No.9.

Moses Leo (knee) is also in some doubt, but despite rumours of an Origin debut centre Jack Howarth has missed out on Queensland selection and is available.

Tanah Boyd’s season appears to be over after an ACL injury against the Broncos with Te Maire Martin, Luke Metcalf and Luke Hanson set to battle for the vacant halves spot for the remainder of 2026.

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (neck) and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (shoulder) remain under injury clouds.
