LeBron James had a wild reaction after being helped up courtside—and no one saw it coming
The Los Angeles Lakers advanced to the second round Friday night after convincingly defeating the Houston Rockets 98-78 in Game 6.

LeBron James carried the load with 28 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists, helping the Lakers secure a 4-2 series victory despite playing without injured star Luka Doncic. The highlight of the night, however, happened off the stat sheet.
In the third quarter, Jabari Smith Jr. blocked a shot of James, sending the 41-year-old into the courtside seats. Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr., who recently signed a record-breaking three-year, $150 million contract extension, was sitting right there.
He reached out to help James to his feet and they shared a brief embrace before James returned to the court and Anderson to his seat. After the game, King James surprised everyone with his comments about the Texans’ star.
LeBron James calls Will Anderson Jr. his «fourth child»
LeBron’s postgame reaction was the best part. Fans have been pointing out how much Anderson looks like Bronny James since early 2025, and LeBron clearly knew about the meme. He didn’t miss the chance to make a joke that caught everyone off guard.
Speaking to reporter Steve Helwick after the game, James said, “Yeah, that’s my fourth child. Him and Bronny are twins and don’t nobody know it. Me and Savannah have been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time.”

Anderson attended Game 6 just a week after signing his record-breaking contract with the Texans. The deal makes the 24-year-old the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, with $134 million guaranteed.

He’s coming off a 12-sack season, bringing his career total to 30 in just three years. But on Friday, he was just there to watch the Rockets get eliminated from the playoffs just like last year.
Social media blew up after the joke, as fans laughed at the unexpected shout-out in the comments.
One fan wrote, ‘LeBron telling jokes when he’s about to play OKC next week—oh yeah, he isn’t worried about the Lakers in five.'»
Another added, ‘Looking like he can be Bronn’s big brother. 😭’
A third one noted, “Bronny waking up to news that he has another brother.”
The fourth fan joked, “LeBron James is creating a dynasty on and off the court; at this rate, the entire league will be his children.”
A random X user penned, “LeBron said family expansion pack unlocked.”
The Lakers now move on to the second round to face the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, who dominated them during the regular season.
So, safe to say, they will keep JJ Redick’s squad under significant pressure. It remains to be seen if the trio of Doncic, Austin Reaves, and James can handle that intensity.
